M.S. Technology Degree, Facilities Management Emphasis
- All of the courses have been developed using guidelines from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
- The program is based on taking two courses in the fall and spring semesters, and one course over the summer. If you maintain this schedule the program can be completed in 2 calendar years. There is an independent, directed project that is not included in the online classes.
- The courses will utilize our online course software, Oncourse. Information about Oncourse can be found at https://oncourse.iu.edu/portal . Delivery will be asynchronous and use digital presentations, online reading and references and minimal streaming video. Online course discussions and interaction with classmates will be required.
- Non-resident students in the Facilities Management Program receive a favorable tuition rate. All courses are 3 credit hours. Information and the online graduate program application can be found at: http://www.iupui.edu/apply/graduate.html.
- If you are not interested in the degree, but would like to take a course for continuing education credits, you can be admitted as Graduate Non-degree (GND) student. As a Graduate Non-degree student can you enroll in the facilities management classes. If at a later date you decide to pursue the M.S. degree, the courses will count toward your degree. Note that non-resident tuition rates for Graduate Non-degree students is higher than theh non-resident rate for students accepted in the program.
